This review is by no means a reflection on the staff, but rather the management in charge of booking. At our arrival, there were close to four or five displeased families with children and luggage, most of whom were sitting in the lobby with husbands standing in line, trying to get checked in. We were all being told the same thing: please be patient your rooms are not ready yet. It was 1645 with check in starting at 1500. The overall impression everyone standing in line got was that the hotel overbooked the rooms with hope of cancellations. And this was the middle of the busy holiday week. Throughout this hour long process (for us), and I was told several hour long wait for others, the front desk staff handled the situation they were put in with professionalism and zero display of frustration. My hat is off to them. I couldn’t have done it. We were checked in an hour later, and our room appeared to be readied just before we got into the elevator. Unfortunately, it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly and it was noticeable. The amenities, however, were adequate with linens and towels being cleaned. I really admired the hard working staff, but would prefer to stay somewhere else next time.
