« This was an absolutely beautifully-decorated apartment in the heart of Oxford just steps from Westgate Mall, which literally saved us during the 100-degree F heatwave! Many stores and restaurants in the mall had Aircon! We were very thankful to gain early access for parking so we could get lunch and see the Ashmolean and Blackwell's while waiting for the firm 4pm check-in. « The studio was ok but virtually all of the photos were not of the studio but of other listings which looked much nicer than the one I booked. Very disappointed that parking was not listed as first come first served, so I had no parking. Residence did not reply to any messages through the contact property link but they were helpful when I managed to phone them. »

« In spite of several demands and messages to the owner, I did not receive any indication on how to enter the flat until after I had booked a last-minute bedroom in a proper hotel. The owner blamed it on the email platform that (apparently) did not transmit the info. That may well be the case, but in any event, he did not take any notice of the messages asking for info until 5 hours after the theoretical check-in time. »

« Excellent base for a visit to Oxford, with the city centre a pleasant half-hour walk across parks to get there. A quiet residential street with some local shops and public transport nearby. Flat was spotless and well furnished with parking out the back. Plenty of space in the kitchen/lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. Host answered any questions quickly and helpfully and no issues with access on arrival. The balcony was an added bonus for coffee in the morning or sitting out in the evening. »

« Good stay near Oxford centre, easy walking and bus access to everything. The neighbors can be a bit noisy and the furnishings are worn but it worked for a few nights needing to be close to city centre. »

« It’s an apartment for short term rent which was not clearly described to me. It’s not a full service hotel. The location is good. The biggest problem is the noise from the street. Very loud car and truck all night long. No sound insulation at all. »
