'Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!'

'Great location. 5 minutes from town. Peaceful. Lovely gardens and free items for use by guests. Only issue is wifi reliability. Not sure if applicable to all rooms but wifi constantly dropped out and had to move around to reconnect. After a week started to wear a bit thin'

'We had an ocean view room which had a lovely long balcony overlooking Kingston, and rolling hills. It is a cosy unit, with comfy beds, and the master bedroom had amazing views from big windows. This is not a modern complex, but adequate for our needs, and nice and quiet being out of town. '

'2 bedroom apartments with comfy king beds in each room, The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the staff were very friendly and helpful. An easy walk to Prinke for coffee. We would stay again. '

'The view was magnificent but when we requested housekeeping the dirty towels etc were not collected, the shower door was faulty, the TV needed to be replaced or repaired and the fridge had numerous battle scars. Some lights weren’t working. '

'The place is a building site. There was no hot water the first night. The water out of the taps had sediment in it. I had to buy drinking water. Builders started power tools at 7.15am on two mornings. Tour buses did not pick up from this place.'

'Older accommodation. Clean, spacious, beds comfortable, full kitchen facilities. Didn't see the "rain shower head" in the bathroom though :) . There was however a shower curtain that liked to "get up close and personal". Would be no good for elderly as car parking was 50 meters from the units down a steep grassy hill and poorly lit. Complex operated by the upmarket Governors lodge. Need to collect and drop off keys at the lodge. No reception on site at the crest. We had a few problems with the...

'We had a wonderful time at Channers which suited us perfectly. Set in beautiful gardens, within walking distance to the shopping centre, and with a neat little car included in the price. We stayed at Apartment One in the original homestead, and we had loads of room and lots of comfort among the beauty of Norfolk Island. We will definitely be visiting again.'
