'We gingen voor het snorkelen en duiken, dat was geweldig. Het personeel fantastisch, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was ruim met balkon/zeezicht, goed bed en gedateerde, maar volledig functionele badkamer. Het eten goed en gevarieerd. Elke dag wat (lokale) entertainment. Wel vervelende mannetjes op het strand die safari's willen verkopen. Als je ze vertelt vertelt dat je al een trip naar Tsavo hebt geboekt, ben je gelijk van alle gezeur af. 'The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.”...
