'Vriendelijk personeel, er werd echter niet mee gelopen om de kamers te wijzen. We hadden twee kamers, duidelijk verschil. Eén kamer was een stuk groter, had een tafeltje en een stoel en een grotere wastafel. Die kamer was op de rustige kant. De andere kamer was krapper en zat aan een drukke weg. Zeer goede bedden. Wel wat gehorig, vloer kraakt ook op meerdere plekken. Meerdere verdiepingen, echter geen lift.'

'A hidden gem of a hotel. Beautiful building, lovely surroundings. My only reason for not giving it a 5 across the board was that there was a private party in one of the function rooms. Not an issue in itself, however I felt the staff were stretched quite thin as a result and the service was quite slow at dinner, to the point that we had to keep trying to find someone to serve, get the bill etc. Other than that, we had a great time and it wouldn’t deter me from coming back '

'Originally booked cause the pictures of the hotel show a bath but ended up being no bath there Suggested hotel.com upgrade there pics cause this hotel does not have any rooms with baths but apart from that enjoyed my stay was clean and comfy and reasonably priced Love the fact for an extra small fee u can use the neighbouring hotels spa’s facilities. Highly recommended '

'Ruime schone kamer, bed kraakte luid bij elke beweging. Continentaal ontbijt was voldoende, tegen toeslag goed full English breakfast dat ter plekke bereid werd. Geen diner/avondresraurant. Op loopafstand weinig activiteiten en restaurants. Receptie grotendeels gesloten, behalve bij check-in. Goede eigen parkeerplaats, ligging dichtbij snelweg die je ‘s nachts niet hoort.'

'The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. '

'Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax.'

'I was lead to believe (from hotels.com presentation) I had a cabin with a private hot tub, and would therefore expect an en-suite. I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. 'Checkin was very friendly and helpful. Photos a bit misleading as kitchen area is shared between three rooms. Bathroom was pretty cold (studio room) and shower cubicle cosy/small with a general musty smell. Bed was comfortable but location on the main road meant it’s a noisy night if you’re a light sleeper. Continental breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.'
