The Neighborhood:
There is a nice Park im Gruene perfect for picnic for family and friends. Its 23 minutes by foot from the villa. Entrance is free, and the park is open all year round. Amongst the many attractions for children, there is a really cool climbing playground, and a wading pool for toddlers. Tall, shady trees scattered throughout the park invite you to spread out a blanket beneath them and have a picnic. There are coffee shops and restaurants in the park so as a store if you have an impromptu picnic in the park.

Getting Around:
Rüschlikon is about 8 km away from the city of Zurich and is a nice area close to the lake. The public transportation available to reach the place is by train, bus or taxi. There are also space outside in the garage where you can park that can fit 2 large cars. The area is a very quite streets where it is nice for walking. The local museum of Rüschlikon recalls the rural and industrial past of the village with a large number of everyday objects.

Please note that you can open only the door with the key as their is no door knob or handle on it. So make sure to bring your key when going outside and leave it in the keybox.
