'This was pretty close to a perfect island vacation that I could imagine. The resort is small but we didn't get a sense of cabin fever. There are 3 pools and a nice stretch of beach with great snorkeling right there. Daily activities including snorkel by boat, guided hikes on surrounding islands, fishing, etc helped ensure there was always something to do. The food was fabulous with fine-dining experiences for dinner every night. The staff was friendly, chatting and seemed genuinely happy for us...

'Very nice accommodation, especially for a small budget. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food was good but I preferred Fijian dishes instead of the international meals. Large reef directly at the beach. Reef shark snorkelling is an absolute recommendation and scuba diving with Sau from the island‘s diving school Yasawa Tropical Diver as well. 'The resort is situated at the Yasawa Islands. All these islands are beautiful. The pool is fantastic and the food is great. Correct staff at the dive shop. However the bungalows are absolutely overpriced compared with other resorts in the Yasawas. Manager is rude, thinks he is the king and does not listen to his clients. We experienced this ourselves and observed this around us. The missed the warm pure Fijian hospitality that we found in the other resort at the Yasawas. 2 days blue lagoon...

'Wonderful resort! We stayed in a Reef bure with coastal views so the view in itself was worth every penny ;-). Lots of opportunities to snorkle right in front of the resort. Food was good too. Staff is extremely helpful and super friendly, without being overbearing (it's a thin line so great job!). '

'Idyllic island escape in a beautiful, secluded part of the Yasawa Islands. Made for those wanting to relax, recharge and switch off from the wider world. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful in a wholly authentic way. The bures were extremely comfortable though were missing some inner curtain/blinds for added privacy (it felt that people could see inside quite easily - one small improvement we'd recommend!). 'We stayed here for 3 nights, went to another (already booked) resort and after that came back in a hurry! We missed the place, the staff, the dogs, everything! Felt very at home here with our kids (7 & 9), had a lot of fun, delicious food and amazing trips. Made memories that will hopefully never fade. '

'very nice staff, very wqrm and helpful. all meals in mandatory meal plan, so that is limiting but food good overall. This is a lodge-only experience (no other restaurants etc nearby), but lots of outfdoor things to do'

'However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! '

'When you are looking for a luxurious and tropical destination, Tokoriki is the place to go! The cottages are beautifully decorated and all have seaview. The pool is stunning and is the perfect place to enjoy sunset with a nice cocktail. Staff is extremely friendly. The resort offers different trips around the island, the free daily snorkelling trips were great. Overall experience was excellent, but don't expect Michelin star quality food.'
