'We hebben er lekker geslapen, heerlijk bed. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en we hebben daar veel tijd door gebracht. Lekkere ruime badkamer. En de tweede slaapkamer is zelfs voorzien van een tv. De woonkamer is ook prettig, om tv te kijken of lekker op de bank te liggen lezen. En we hebben heerlijk gewandeld. Direct achter het huis is een prachtig 'park' waar al genoeg te zien is. Zeker het stukje millenium walk is zeer de moeite waard. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te...

'A well equipped and beautifully located cottage. Good position for visiting Buxton, Chester Zoo and all the Peak District walks. Good Local amenities. Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!'

'We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again'

'The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

'The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again.'

'Ruim, netjes, gezellig, goede faciliteiten. Weg ernaar toe is ff wennen: straten worden steeds smaller en auto’s kunnen elkaar niet meer passeren. Prachtig stukje Engeland. Beheerders wonen naast vakantiewoning en zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam.'

'We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in Vicarage cottage. Het huis is erg gezellig en het was ruim genoeg voor ons gezin van vier. De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig! We hebben Chrome Hill beklommen, echt een aanrader. En ook de Honesty Shop op loopafstand was een grote plus. Heerlijke ijsjes!'
