'Excellent service. Due to a recent knee injury, I requested a room on the first floor and access to easy parking. They placed me at the very end of the building, next to the side entrance where I could park easily. Highly recommend.'

'Wij waren op doorreis en hebben 2 nachten in dit hotel verbleven. Inchecken ging vlot bij behulpzaam en aardig personeel. Het gebouw is oud maar de kamer, bedden en badkamer waren schoon. De afvoer was niet al te best waardoor het water in het bad niet goed wegliep. De directe omgeving is niet interessant. Ik zou hier in de avond niet rond lopen. Over het algemeen kan je hier prima overnachten voor een lage prijs.'

'Awful, bed is old and uncomfortable. No sheet under the blanket. Blinds in the door did nothing to keep light out, we drapped a blanket over the door to fix it. 'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'
