'Ness View Apartment was hands down the best place I have stayed on holiday. The apartment was cosy, quiet, and was in a well situated area. You could walk to all Inverness has to offer. Eleanor is a pleasure to communicate with. I highly recommend this apartment as a home base for all the Highlands has to offer. '

'Clean, spacious apartment near city center. It took me a while to figure out the lights and the appliances are a wee different then in the US. Don't be alarmed if you do a wash and it's taking 3 hours.The washing machine automatically does the drying as well. Overall, a brilliant place to stay. Tesco is across the street. '

'The property was exactly as described and did not disappoint. Jennifer was excellent to work with, and there were some lovely personal touches that were added such as breakfast items, bottled water, soaps. Locations was convenient to train, shops and restaurants all just steps away from the flat.'

'This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

'Fantastisch uitzicht.... Heerlijke accommodatie en overal dichtbij. Schoon. Fantastisch. Echt een aanrader !!! Enige (kleine) minpuntje: jammer dat je als je er ietsje eerder bent er niet in mag (zonder te betalen). Wat soepeler hiermee omgaan zou fijn zijn (kamers zijn naar onze mening meestal echt wel klaar)'

'The apartment was comfortable, well appointed and in a great location just at the end of the “bouncy bridge”. We were able to explore the area in our short stay. Reasonably priced public parking wasn’t too far away.'

'Very nice property and location. Would recommend for any large family/ friends trip around Inverness and Loch Ness area. Clean, comfortable, warm and very easy instructions for check in. Ideal for self catering with all the kitchen requirements you could ask for. Great property.'

'Perfect place for a family of 4. Apartment was clean, well organized and very comfortable. We relied solely on public transportation for our trip, and this place was a perfect balance between the city and getting to and from our destinations. As an added side note it is so close to Inverness Cathedral where many guided tours leave from. Innes was incredibly responsive and helpful. Great stay. '

'Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this property during our four night stay in Portree. Perfect location to explore many areas on the Isle Of Skye. Very convenient to restaurants, cafes and shops in the center of town. Nice walks around Portree as well. Clean, quiet and comfortable. There are stairs to the apartment but we knew this ahead of time. The only reason we are not rating five stars is because we had trouble checking in. We were not familiar with the heating...

'Amazing! The house is so cozy, beautifully laid out and well appointed. Great mattresses, towels, water pressure, etc. But really it's the incredible views from every single window (green rolling hills dotted with white sheep and the ocean out in the distance) and being along the path to Brother's Point that makes this place so special. We stayed in 3 rentals during our UK trip and this was by far the best and we all wish we had booked it for longer. We certainly hope to be back some day! One...

'The property is in a great central location...easy access to just about anything. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean. A couple challenges for us...not sure there is anything that can be done but want you to know...the floors in the main bedroom are old (beautiful) wood floors that SQUEAK terribly. Walking to the bathroom at night made so much noise that my partner had to wear ear plugs! It would be nice if there were instant coffee or something for the morning. There...

'We enjoyed the apartment, very spacious for an in town flat with a great kitchen! 2 bathrooms a huge plus (we were a 2 couple group.) walking distance to a ton of restaurants and bars, and a grocery store not far at all walking distance, all very helpful. I had asked if there were any basics in the house as we are from the States, and I’m learning it’s not typical here, as it is there, and was told ‘nothing in the kitchen but yes in bathroom’ which was actually the complete opposite :) so I’d...

Just OK but overpriced

"This was a 1 night stay. The bar and service was very friendly & efficient. However overall, for the €172/night (converted from GBP) paid we had expected a better quality standard, notably on the following items: 1. narrow double bed (140-150cm?) with uncomfortable mattress 2. at 11pm insufficient hot water pressure in the shower (was OK in the morning) 3. noisy (large group of guests? maybe even outside?) late evening/night time and also before 7 in the morning 4. maintenance: bathroom fan not working "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
