'What a gem of an Inn! From the old bar, we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and the place was quiet. The curtains blotted out the light! The bathroom was clean and very swish. All in all, well recommended for a night, a weekend or a week! '

'Amazing trip away, the pub is outstanding and the huts behind were brilliant to stay in. There are no cooking facilities but we were aware and planned accordingly. 'Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again.'

'We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. 'This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. '
