'We had a large group in town to see a concert. The house provided everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and nice backyard to hang during the day. Only a 10 minute drive to MVP arena. '

'Nice comfortable house. We had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable with two nice outdoor seated areas. Great location too. Lots to do nearby. One thing to mention is that the listing says it sleeps 10 but the pullout sofa is on the side indoor patio which you can’t sleep in during cold weather. So some of our party had no other place to sleep but the couch which is right next to the kitchen.. Also, the hot tub is a jet powered tub in the bathroom, not a hot tub. '

'Great place but you should be aware that trains run by pretty regularly day and night about 300 yards behind property. Very comfortable beds and the house was extremely clean, although some evidence of mice.'

'This was one of my favorite stays in berkshire county. I have been up there no less than 7 times and I thoroughly enjoyed the Stargazer Farm. My wife and I had an epically romantic weekend complete with a roaring wood fire, thunderstorm, and homecooked meal. We stayed in all day and sat by the fire while listening to classical music and surrounded by interesting antiques to reflect the mood. 'Our family of four needed to travel to Albany area for a family event and we are not fans of hotel rooms. The Watervliet Retreat was a perfect stay for our family. Literally within 15 mins of everywhere we needed to be, 3 bedrooms (1 of the bedrooms is a very comfortable pull-out sofa) with extremely comfortable beds. Extremely clean and well-presented. A supermarket within a few mins walk as well proved very helpful. Lastly, despite it being on what looked like a busy streetfront, the house...

'We were taking our college kid back to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy and this house was convenient - an easy 20 minute drive to Troy. The house is big with a good kitchen and an outdoor patio and large tree-shaded yard. We also took day trips to Albany and Saratoga which were easy trips from here. There’s a grocery store, wine and bottle shop and pizza and ice cream shops nearby. It’s secluded and quiet. '
