'We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s not often that we find such a gem of a place when we travel with our big dog. He was so happy exploring the fully fenced in yard which is gorgeous and a bird watcher’s paradise. The mountain views are stunning. 'This was a great property, especially for the price. My expectations were set low just based on the fact that the price was so low, but it was perfect for me and my dog. There was a group or family members or something that had rented many of the cottages, so it felt good to me a single woman with just a dog that there weren’t multiple Strangers in the area even though they were strangers they all knew each other. 'Nate and his family made sure that every detail was tended to, and I was able to reach them via text when a couple of glitches developed when I first arrived. As I was attending a writer's retreat at the Sou'wester, a 3 minute drive away, and our weather was kind of chilly for much of the stay, returning on my extended breaks gave me a chance to tuck in, make a simple meal, and have a break from the intense engagement. 'We enjoyed the view in this cozy little cabin. The hot tub was our favorite and appreciated the robes provided. There were some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, however, such as 1. the wall heater not working correctly (knob falls off), 2. kitchen sink does not drain properly when washing a few dishes. Also, I believe you should show how small the shower/bathroom is, so renters are not caught off guard. We were not expecting that from a "luxury" cabin.'

'Overall happy with our stay. Clean, easy check-in, responsive hosts. Location is good for the price point. Good space for a couples retreat. We had our dog with us and it was good for us. Would strongly NOT recommend if traveling with small children, however, due to the stairs having lots of big gaps for kids to fall through. Would have also been a problem if our dog was any smaller. '
