'I needed a room for the nite and it provided me with what i needed. I would suggest the matteresses are changed and the shower is looked at. They are either cold or really hot. It was difficult to modulate the temperature to a warm setting. The matress was too soft'

'I only stayed at The Grosvenor 2 nights. I didnt find the guest house as advertised. There were weeds growing on the outside steps. The room was so so. The toilet in the bathroom was only held to the floor with one bolt. I think carpeting could have been shampooed. The proprietor was pleasant enough. '

'Leuk authentiek hotel in het midden van het prachtige Rye. Kamers zijn ruim en prima ingericht, vriendelijk personeel en zeer goed ontbijt. Helaas was de afvoer van de wasbak volledig verstopt en sloeg de niet geheel geluidloze airco op de gang naast onze kamer 's ochtends om 6 uur aan. Personeel ging het allemaal oplossen, dus voor de volgende gasten is dit geen probleem meer.'

'My husband and I stayed here recently while visiting a friend who lives just a short walk away, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The bed was a little more firm that we are used to, but that seems to be a common thing we encountered with UK beds, in general and is not a complaint about this establishment in any way. The owner was very helpful and pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again for future visits!'

'Amazing staff, after a bit of a mishap they were very patient and we worked around the issue. They serve homemade breakfast with a range of options in the morning from 8:30-9:30 and in a restaurant style. Very clean and homely. Bathroom was really clean and everything had everything we needed for a 2 night stay! Cute little mini fridge too! The only thing that got me were the squeaky beds… I had to put the mattresses on the floor for the second night but the floors were really clean so I didn’t...

'Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. '
