Holiday paradise with pool

Holiday in a spacious holiday home with its own pool and large garden. The beautiful kilometer-long sandy beach is ideal for long walks and is only a 10-minute walk away. Ideal for children as it goes flat into the water. On the way to the beach you will find various restaurants, cafes and shops.
The house is a non-smoking house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a terrace with a view of the garden and pool (9 x 4 m) and a private courtyard with cold and hot water. Shower, a roof terrace, parking spaces for cars (one of them covered), a large garden with many fruit trees that can be harvested seasonally by guests. All of this is located in an area of approx. 1000m².
The pool is cleaned 3 x a week. A gardener comes twice a month. There is an automatic sprinkler system overseen by the gardeners. It would be nice if they would water the flower pots on the terrace and patio from time to time, watering aids are available.
The house is located in Manta Rota, a small town in the sand Algarve. 45 minutes from Faro airport and only 20 minutes by car to the Spanish border. Seville can be reached in about 2 hours.
Very beautiful cities and areas are Vila Real de Sto. Antonio, Tavira, Olhao, Sagres, the rocky Algarve and of course Cabo de Sao Vizente, the westernmost tip of Europe. In the hinterland there are Lulé, Sao Braz de Alportel and Alcotim to discover. A guide is in the house.

Heerlijk!
We hebben een maand doorgebracht in dit huis. Echt fijn. Ruim, schoon, alles aanwezig. Badkamers zijn gedateerd, maar alles functioneerde. De citroenbomen, sinaasappelbomen en loquatboom zorgden voor onze vitamine C. Het is stil (op blaffende honden na) een De eigenaar reageert zeer snel op vragen. Kortom: een prettig huis.

Great location, nice pool
The property is in a nice, quiet, residential position and the pool is clean and cared for. Walking distance to the town and beach made it easy for us. The garden is small but pretty and fairly private given the house position. Having someone to meet us would have been a nice touch, or even someone checking in during the stay or when leaving. We had no contact with anyone. However, we managed with the lock safe. I'm sure most people wouldn't worry. The property itself has air-conditioning which was great but the kitchen and bathrooms would benefit from some updating. There is pretty much anything you want in the property including seating, pool floats, games, kitchen utensils etc. which was appreciated. Bring a hair dryer! The only negative - I would add that this is the first time in 20+ years we have stayed in a holiday rental which is used by the owners and contains all of their belongings. I personally found this a little strange and had to be mindful that some food in the freezer / wardrobe contents / personal belongings were not to be touched or used. Perhaps easy to be respectful of this arrangement as adults but I had to be very vigilant bringing children with me. Maybe this is more common than I thought, but I have not come across this arrangement before myself. Thank you for having us. You have a lovely home and we enjoyed our holiday. Annie

Autonom und fast wie zuhause
Für den Haushalt ist wirklich alles parat und wir konnten alles so machen wie es uns gefiel. Allerdings hat das häufige Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft manchmal genervt, und wenn ich wiederkommenwollte,, müsste sich daran etwas ändern.

Perfekt zum Entspannen
Wir waren über Neujahr da und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir konnten die Sonne auf der Terrasse genießen, lange Strandspaziergänge machen und hatten an kalten Abenden im Wohnzimmer einen sehr gemütlichen Rückzugsort. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und top organisiert. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Sossego impagável na azáfama de agosto
A casa fica num recanto sossegado, sem ser longe da praia ou do supermercado e restaurantes, o que é uma vantagem impagável na confusão típica das férias em agosto. Está bem equipada, com tudo o que os proprietários utilizam, sendo confortável para o dia a dia. A piscina não arrefece muito, mesmo se o aquecimento só foi ligado a meio da semana que lá passámos. Tem sol desde o nascer até ao fim do dia.

Alles super!
Wir waren dieses Jahr schon zum zweiten Mal zu Gast bei Gudrun und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind toll! Die Ausrüstung des Hauses ist nicht neu, aber sehr durchdacht, komplett und sauber. Die Kommunikation mit Gudrun ist sehr einfach und problemlos. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empflehlen!

Manta Rota July 23
Just returned from a week in Manta Rota at Casa Adam. My entire group had a wonderful time and were so glad we stayed here as opposed to more populated areas further west in the Algarve. The property was beautiful and pretty much exactly as described online. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is quite refreshing and the beach is a blissful short walk away. As we did venture into some of the local towns, having a car helped. The location is very accessible to the N125 and the A22 (toll road) to move about. But for a beach holiday, this is exactly what we were looking for.

Loved it!
This has been our second visit to Casa Adam and the first since the pandemic. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the huge sandy beach and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. To have your own swimming pool is a real bonus and we picked oranges and lemons from the garden. Manta Rota is a small village but has several bars and restaurants and a good supermarket. Recommended unreservedly.

Großzügiges Haus in herrlichem Garten
Der Aufenthalt in Casa Adam hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Bei dem schönen Wetter waren der herrlich blühende Garten mit dem angenehm temperierten Pool und den Orangen-und Zitronenbäumen mit saftigen Früchten ein Highlight. Es war bestimmt nicht unser letztes Mal dort.

Great Villa, excellent gardens and pool
This property had virtually everything on site to make a wonderful holiday, it hugely exceeded our expectations. Gudrun was absolutely great, a real star, answering any small query within a few minutes. The property was clean, light and airy and the pool house was a great hit. The beach is only a 10/15 minute walk away with all the equipment that you could possibly need on site at the property. Parking is excellent, undercover right by the front door. We had a great time and would definitely return. We highly recommend this property.

Família de 6 em Julho
Gostámos muito da estadia, de duas semanas de Julho. A casa é linda e muito confortável, o jardim permite muita privacidade. Ainda é uma caminhada até à praia mas mesmo a criança mais nova (5 anos) fez diariamente sem dificuldade. O único problema foi um cão da casa anexa que ladrava dia e noite. Isto certamente não é culpa da Gudrun mas um melhor isolamento sonoro nos quartos mais próximos da rua talvez possa ser considerado no futuro. Em geral, gostámos muito e esperamos voltar!

Entspannter Urlaub
Mein Mann und ich verbrachten entspannte 10 Tage in dem geräumigen, sehr persönlich eingerichteten Haus und haben besonders den wunderschönen, gepflegten und weitgehend uneinsehbaren Garten mit den Obstbäumen genossen , von denen wir uns bedienen durften. Das Interieur des Hauses ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was uns aber gar nicht gestört hat, denn alles war sehr sauber und außergewöhnlich komplett ausgestattet. Die elektrischen Maschinen und der Fernseher sind neueren Datums und das WLAN ist stabil und gut. Den schönen und gepflegten Pool konnten wir leider wegen des kühlen und bedeckten Wetters in den letzten Tagen nicht mehr nutzen, da die Wassertemperatur dann trotz der Solarheizung schnell gesunken war. Dafür spendete der Außenkamin , für den reichlich Holz bereit lag, abends wohlige Wärme auf der Terrasse. Insgesamt ist das Haus wegen seiner Größe und seiner guten Ausstattung für Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

Fantastic garden and pool!
We stayed at Casa Adam for 10 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it! Manta Rota has everything you want for your holiday and the beach is an easy 10 - 15 minute walk away, as are several nice restaurants. The house is on a large plot with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees and a fantastic pool which is heated by solar panels! The garden and pool are regularly maintained. The house itself is just as the photographs with everything you could possibly want provided! The beds were comfortable too! The only problem we had, which seems to be common in the area, was barking dogs but ear plugs helped! So we had a great time and hope to return for some more Portugese sun!

Tivemos uma óptima estadia! A casa estava limpa e arranjada quando chegámos, é muito espaçosa e luminosa, dispondo de um amplo espaço exterior, ajardinado e de uma boa piscina com água tépida e cristalina. Abundância de apetrechos exteriores, mesas e cadeiras, espreguiçadeiras, toalhas, boias e brinquedos diversos. Espaço cuidado, bem vedado, com muita privacidade, com ambiente calmo, embora perto de restaurantes e supermercados. A cerca de 15 minutos a pé da praia de manta rota. Proprietária muito disponível e cuidadosa, atenta a todos os pormenores, muito fácil de contactar, respondendo rapidamente a todas as questões. Gostámos muito e recomendamos!

Wonderful house with private pool
We spent a wonderful time in this lovely house. The property has all the facilities you might need for a relaxing vacation. At the same time it is a 10 minute walk from the manta rota beach. Nearby you can find shops, supermarket and several restaurants. Inside the property the garden gives you a feeling of being away from the busy parts of Algarve but at the same time you can quickly walk to the main street of Manta Rota and find anything you need. The communication with the owner was very good and the check in and out was very easy. We would definitely recommend this property and will try to come back soon.

Uma pitada de tudo
Uma moradia completa, nunca faltou nada. Um jardim grande e bonito, onde era possível descansar e apanhar sol. A piscina estava limpa, com água quente e agradavel. O interior da casa é confortável e espaçosa, com muitos recantos para uma boa leitura tranquila. A cozinha super bem equipada com tudo que seja possivel utiizar e uma churrasqueira de onde sairam óptimos petiscos. Agradecida pelos bons momentos, na expectativa de os poder repetir.
