'Great place to stay. It had all we expected and needed. Lots of room and good bedrooms. Liked the property and the views. '

'We had the best time with a group of 8 ( 4 adults, 4 children from 10 to 13). Our friends also brought a boat so we could go into the river with all 8 of us together! Really nice, super calm river. The swimming pool is very beautiful … loved it. The house had everything you need and was very clean. Maybe 1 remark: the double beds are not very big for couples to sleep in but all the rest made up for that. Alexandre and his sons and uncle were very helpful and reacted immediately to any questions...

'We, family of three, enjoyed our stay very much. Helena and Francisco are very warm and welcoming people. Their son and daughter speak English well. The garden is beautifull with the waterfalls, the little lake and the vinyard. The cottages are well kept and much prettier than the pictures show. The outdoor kitchen with fridge which we shared with one other family was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will love this place.'

This unique property includes an old large wine making room with equipment, the entry to the breakfast and dinner rooms. Charming and outstanding.'

'We had a very nice stay at Douro Paradise. The name of the residence leaves nothing to the imagination: the house is very luxuriously equipped and the view is breathtaking. We were very warmly welcomed, delicious wine and a picnic were offered. Here is everything for a wonderful holiday.'

'Great location and accommodation however need more drawers and cupboards for clothes in main house - we had to live out of suitcases. Beds very comfortable but not enough easy chairs in main room.'
