From here, we could watch the fireworks over Reykjavik at new years and we also saw the northern lights! Just remember that the check in is not at the cabbins, but in the hotel in town. "The room is well furnished with sufficient space and facilities. The view is amazing towards the Black Beach, exactly same as the photo. The lighting system in the room is not sufficient for my family. Even when you turn on all the lights, you get only dimmed light. I know this is more in fashion, but not quite practical. "

"Hotel is on a great location in Vik, and easy to find. Free parking was nice and wifi was fast. Bar is cozy and staff was friendly, patient and helpfull. The superior room was a bit to small for 3 persons and 3 suitcases to stay in. The extraction in our shower was not working and the shower could really use some hooks to hang up the towels. Room was very clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was amazing! The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, the black sand beach, etc. A great location to explore VIK. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience at your hotel! "
