'We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen. Prima kamer, heerlijke douche. Pocton zelf is niet bijzonder, maar vanuit Admirals kun je gemakkelijk in de dorpen komen voor de wijnproducenten en wijngaarden.'

'Bij onze aankomst bleek dat er een verkeerde kamer voor ons gereserveerd was. Omdat er geen andere fatsoenlijke kamer was kregen we een kamer in het bijbehorende motel. Die kamer was perfect. Schoon, prima bed, goede badkamer. Het hostel is ongelooflijk smerig, in de keuken kleeft alles en overal liggen kruimels, de borden en het bestek zijn niet goed afgewassen, kortom: niet naar toe gaan!'

'Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Although the property was on a busy road the bedrooms are all at the back, so noise is not a problem. Very generous breakfast eaten outside when weather permits.'

'Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat.'

'LOVELY stay-the proprietors Tim and Janet are wonderful hosts-we were allowed to check in early, shared an informal happy hour and they gave us a lot of local information and happenings. Janet showed a lot of personal touches to the room and it was great to have our own patio. HIGHLY recommend!'
