The room was (as all hotel rooms in Japan) small. The mattress had seen better days and was uncomfortable. The entire hotel is a bit dated, however it suited our needs just fine. 'Anchor Site is a modern, nicely designed accommodation at a convenient location in Takayama.The apartment is quite large and could easily accommodate us (2 adults + 2 children). Air-conditioning and other facilities were working very well. The place was spotlessly clean and convenient. We felt very comfortable in this house. Our host was very kind and generous and clearly understands what travelers require. He made extra efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. I absolutely recommend this place...
