'We truly enjoyed our stay here. We made a last-minute decision to head to the mountains and were lucky enough to find this perfect spot just minutes to Sugar Mountain Resort. The cabin is adorable and had everything we needed (except laundry detergent! :) ) After hours Check-in and out were very easy. Had no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again.'

'My family loved this VRBO, clean, well laid out, comforting. We loved the forest surroundings. We loved the back deck with good deck furniture. The pathway leading to a gurgling brook was nice. 'My wife and some of our friends came in for a wedding at Grandfather Mountain and this was the perfect location. Spacious house with plenty of beds and close to everything that we would need! We had difficulty getting into the house during check-in, but this was resolved quickly and we had no other problems during our stay!'

'We enjoyed our time at Sugar Mountain. The cabin was spacious and well furnished. The driveway was quite steep, but that's probably a given at many homes in the area. We had an issue with the wifi, but Howard helped us get that sorted. My mother-in-law was disappointed there was no AC, but it was mostly comfortable in July.'

'We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that!
