'A great property with amazing views of the mountains while only 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. Hot tub, beautiful fire pit and outside patio area and a great layout with all the amenities we could ever want. A five start stay. '

'We had a wonderful time and all of the adults commented on how nice the house was. It is a place that would be fun to visit in warmer weather some time as well. '

'Overall this house was perfect for our weekend stay. It was very clean and the check in and check out process was farely easy. The reasons I didn't give this a 5 start is because the beds upstairs were horribly uncomfortable and all the pillows were flat. They also don't give you a sponge or dish soap to wash dishes. Other than that it was great. '

'The property was beautiful! Great space with plenty of room for all 7 of us. 3 adults and 4 kids, ages 11-14. The house was amazing with beautiful views and very comfortable. Close to everything and the roads were well kept when it snowed. Perfect mountain getaway!'

'My wife and some of our friends came in for a wedding at Grandfather Mountain and this was the perfect location. Spacious house with plenty of beds and close to everything that we would need! We had difficulty getting into the house during check-in, but this was resolved quickly and we had no other problems during our stay!'

'We had a fantastic time playing in the snow with the kids. The view was tranquil from the back deck. Enjoyed watching the snow fall as we sipped on hot chocolate. On the front side of the house is a small hill that we used to go sledding for hours with our children. The house is located close to everything you might want to do or see. We walked to the snow tubing and ice skating place from the house. We look forward to booking again this fall to hike Grandfather mt. '

'We enjoyed our time at Sugar Mountain. The cabin was spacious and well furnished. The driveway was quite steep, but that's probably a given at many homes in the area. We had an issue with the wifi, but Howard helped us get that sorted. My mother-in-law was disappointed there was no AC, but it was mostly comfortable in July.'
