'Beautiful room with a lovely roll top bath in the annex building. Plenty of parking, friendly & helpful staff. Good cooked to order breakfast (extra charge). Have the option to use the living room in the main house in the evening. 10/10 would love to stay here again!'

'A lovely warm, comfortable, spacious suite, well furnished and equipped and hosted by friendly, professional owners. The hot tub , looking out on to beautiful countryside views was a delight and the cooked breakfast was excellent! We will be staying again!'

'Absolutely delightful 3-night stay at this lovely historic Inn. Staff were all professional, hard working, courteous and polite. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious with top quality ingredients - cooked to perfection. We had dinner two nights - again, lovely ingredients, really well cooked. All in all the perfect place to stay to enjoy the wonderful village and church. Will definitely come again'

'Lovely location, room and service. Breakfast choices were very good and beautifully cooked…….. scrambled eggs just how I like them! The most important positive was how warm the room was considering it was almost freezing outside. It was a pity the advertised log burner didn’t have any logs for us to use as this would have been a lovely touch as well.'

'Great hospitality from the staff. Breakfast was good but a little overpriced for a basic continental spread. I would have expected the continental breakfast to be included with the room rate. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous! I would love to dine there again. When I got my final bill for my stay (room and breakfast) I was asked if I wanted to add further gratuity to it which was a little surprising and made me feel a bit awkward. I had tipped well for the dinners already. So I’m not...

"Het was okay. Typisch Engels hotel, veel karakter (lees oudbollig) en op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum. Ze bieden een continentaal ontbijt aan. Vrij karige keuze. Geen ei te bekennen. Mocht je een Engels ontbijt willen dan moet je extra betalen. "

Mooi nieuw hotel, goede locatie.

"Mooi vrij nieuw hotel op loopafstand van het centrum. Jammer dat het in en uitchecken zo lang duurde omdat men niet het juiste betaal apparaat beschikbaar had voor Visa kaarten uit de EU.. Daarnaast werkte de sauna en het stoombad nog niet een uur na openingstijd."

Good hotel, shuttle drive needed

"The hotel is nice and the room is quiet and clean. A bit outdated but the room rate is related to that. Shuttle: You need to take a shuttle which costs 4 gbp per person per ride, it only goes every 30 minutes. This means you need to plan this additional step which is hard in arrival. This ride only takes 5 min "
