'Dons Mai Tai restaurant has good food choices. Fast and friendly staff. Shoutout to Taeko! Room at the Ali’ Tower faced the pool and you can see the luau from our balcony. I would do this just one day otherwise you get the luau show daily. Beautiful views and can hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Would definitely recommend and will return to this hotel.'

'Hotelbar bij het zwembad was geen aanrader, bier uit een plastic beker hoort niet bij een dergelijk hotel. Hotel was wel zeer gunstig gelegen in Kona. Ook erg fijn was het gratis (goed) ontbijt wat van het hotel krijgen aangeboden.'

'My husband and I stayed in a studio. It was a great size for the two of us. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and we loved the little outdoor seating space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. We didn’t use the pool or anything as we were too busy exploring the island but we loved our stay! '

'This property was bright, clean and had all the stuff you would need for a great vacation, beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, dishes, etc. It was in the middle of the strip, across from the beach. Tons of shops and restaurants near by. Parking was tight if you came home too late, but there was street parking within 5 min. 'Great to have a/c on a humid evening! Didn't use the pool but looked very inviting. Peaceful neighborhood. Coffee maker and kitchenette were adequate but would not be suitable for cooking a meal. Bathroom sink was difficult to use and drained slowly. We used kitchenette sink for washing hands, etc. Host was friendly and responsive.'
