'Middeleeuws pand met veel atmosfeer en midden in Stratford. Op kruipafstand van het RSC theater. Er is een nieuw gedeelte en een middeleeuws gedeelte; wij zaten op ons verzoek in het middeleeuwse gedeelte. De kamer is schattig. Er zit werkelijk geen rechte hoek in en de vloer kraakt en piept. Heel authentiek. Het nadeel ervan is weinig ventilatie in de kamer en zeker de badkamer (schimmel). Ook is de douchebediening gammel en moeilijk te bedienen. Waarom er een bad in zat was ons een raadsel...

'Lovely hotel Room was nice but walls need touching up and four pillows were all hard which was a shame. Really should have soft snd hard . Breakfast service was good but disappointing that i had to send eggs Benedict back as both eggs were hard. When it was replaced one was still hard .'

'Wij verbleven 10 dagen in het hotel en komen hier bijna jaarlijks. Wij hebben een goed verblijf gehad, echter over de jaren heen is er veel veranderd achter de schermen en helaas niet ten goede. Personeel is goed en vriendelijk maar duidelijk niet gelukkig met alle veranderingen. De kamers zijn schoon, maar de kamers zijn echt toe aan renovatie. De matrassen van onze bedden waren slecht. Het ontbijt was prima, maar er loop bijna geen personeel meer rond. het is een ontbijtbuffet en die is goed.'
