'Check in was super! Vriendelijk personeel. De kamer die we krijgen zonder zeezicht is erg klein. Ook is hier geluidsoverlast van een klapperende deur in de gang en van de keuken buiten. ‘s avonds eten we in het restaurant, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is niet in verhouding. Het eten is oké maar niet super. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar dus. Na het eten willen we nog iets drinken in de bar, maar nadat we hier een tijd hebben gewacht geven we dit op. 'Beetje vergane glorie, de foto’s zien er veel beter uit dan in werkelijkheid. Men heeft geprobeerd om nog iets van de jaren 70 stijl te verbloemen. Schilderwerk was allang niet zo mooi als op de foto’s. Wij reisde met onze hond. Deze kan je alleen fatsoenlijk op het strand uitlaten, maar dat mag tussen 18:00 en 10:00. Personeel leek ook continu geïrriteerd. Geen fijne sfeer in het hotel. Het dorp en de stranden zijn trouwens wel fantastisch.'

'We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, and showed to our room which was spotlessly clean, if rather small, but perfectly good for a one night stay. Decor/furnishings/breakfast room really nicely done. There was lots of choice for breakfast (vegan options well stocked), however the was no 'full English'. Parking was road-side round the corner, but still within 50 metres.'

'The room was lovely with excellent views of the bay. A short walk to the centre of St Ives, however, like other properties there, it was a steep climb heading back. The host was approachable, with a self service breakfast available. '

'Our stay at Uno was lovely! It’s a beautiful property. Our room was well appointed and the bed was comfy! The views are spectacular, we loved our wine on the deck overlooking Saint Ives!'

'The hospitality is wonderful and the room clean. Breakfast is good and you can ask if you miss things. For me the price for the accomodation was too high. Although its high season and a touristic area, the room was small, the bed very small and the bathroom extremely small. View on parkinglot.'

'Firstly this was my second stay and I was not offered a free room upgrade as they advertise for their rewards plan. Upon arrival we was checking in and the guy at the desk told us the keys are in the door, we went around to the small building and there was no keys, the maintenance man (who was very nice) had to come and climb into the window, whilst he was doing this we realised the bench at the front of the cabin was completely disintegrating. We went into the building and the smell was...

'The hotel is just marvellous. A warm welcome and care by the hosts during the stay. Prime location between St. Ives snd Penzance. Food is outstanding, especially the signature breakfast. Rooms are amazing, with immaculate cleanliness and beds are comfortable.'

'5 star! Stayed for a week at Gardenside and happy to say it was all brand new and so luxurious. The house has 2 luxurious bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs that added extra privacy sharing with my extended family. Literally views that blow your mind. The master suites are pretty sizable if you want your little ones in the same bedroom with you. The terrace and hot tub don't have any houses overlooking which was perfect and you are elevtated with that awesome sea view and a beautiful gardens to...
