« The house was very comfortable. No extras....one roll of toilet paper, on roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent, no beach towels, no beach chairs. Was a little surprised by that.The master bed was the only comfortable one. Not the best layout for family with one of the rooms being downstairs under the house.The house was clean and great location!! »

« Great location! Just a few steps from the beach and the pool was great for days when the beach wasn't ideal. (Rip tide warnings and windy this particular week) We enjoyed the shops and restaurants and this area did not have all the spring break rowdy crowds....perfect for families. Our host, Laura, was a real sweetheart, taking a few minutes out of her busy day to just sit and talk with me. ( I was here on a Respite visit as a caregiver) »

« Daphne was a great host, and the property is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet, but it is an easy walk or bike to both downtown Apalachicola, the grocery store, Lafayette Park, and several other points of interest. Both the house and backyard are spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. »

« Yes, the house has some quirks. It's a bit wobbly but we all found it charming. John is SUPER communicative and welcoming. He was available during our stay for any questions or concerns. « The views are beautiful. The house was lacking a few things, like an icemaker and storage space for staples you would bring when staying at a home with a kitchen. Many of the lighting fixtures had burnt out bulbs. The TV was difficult to navigate and had no local channels. The dock is in desperate need of repair. With a little TLC this house would be perfect. The rental company did an excellent job at communication. »

« We have been coming to SGI for 30+ years but didn’t think we’d be able to come this year. We found out we could come a month before our stay. I reached out to the host to see if they’d allow our large dog and she responded affirmatively. Pictures showed a fenced yard with a nice tiled cool patio under the house.
