'Beautiful an luxurious hotel. Well equipped and nicely decorated hotel room with everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Good breakfast with a view over the Old Course and town. Allergies were perfectly dealt with. Location of the Sands Grill could be better: no windows/outside view, which is a pity for such a marvelous hotel location. Be aware that the use of the spa pool has certain restrictions in time when no further spa treatment is booked.'

'A great place to stay. Check in was delightful, room was warm and cozy, hot shower and comfy bed. We ate dinner in the main restaurant, the food was outstanding. Great flavours and presentation. Whisky, scrabble and a roaring fire in the bar afterwards. Breakfast was good and a quick visit to the hens before departing.'

'This was my second time at the Albany, and I'll be sure to stay here next time I need to travel to St Andrews. The hotel is perfect for a single traveller: small and friendly, plenty of character, and a delicious, home-cooked breakfast to start off the day.'

'The Dunvegan was such a lovely hotel. We loved all the golf memorabilia and the history of the hotel. The staff were kind and attentive, and the location is ideal for enjoying all the sights of the wonderful town of St. Andrews. We hope to stay here again when we visit. '

'Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!'

'We stayed as a family of 4, the room was great with one double and two single beds. Plenty of space and nice and clean. All staff were friendly and the food was lovely.'

My only wish is that the room would have had a bath but I knew it didn’t at the time of booking, so no complaints. Hosts were excellent, very friendly and were very respectful of privacy. '

'The property is housed in a lovely stone building very befitting the Auld Grey Toon. When entering the property we were struck by how grand and beautiful it was whilst maintaining a very cozy and homely feeling. The decor and amenities were of the highest order. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is a welcome touch in the winter. The flat is very close to the main streets of the town. We never used the car in the 3 days we were there, we walked everywhere. On a practical note the check in...
