Beautiful and restful! Our home has been recently refreshed and furnished and is ready to warmly welcome you and your family. Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay in a beautiful home with gourmet kitchen, spa bathroom and gorgeous back yard. Enjoy the 2 gas fireplaces or warm up outside in the hot tub. We are a non-smoking property. Fern Haus is 5 minutes from SEA airport and close to light rail. Burien is a small community with great restaurants, shopping and breweries. Des Moines marina is 10 minutes south with restuarants and parks. Seattle’s T-Mobile and Lumen fields are 15 minutes to downtown, Seattle's Pioneer Square and the waterfront. Fern Haus is ready for you with 3 bedrooms all with brand new beds, mattresses and hypo allergenic hotel style quality bedding. There is one full luxury bathroom with walk in shower featuring a rainfall shower with an adjustable hand shower and heated floors also there is a half bath off the kitchen. Our home is basically on one level with two steps in and one step down to the family room with smart tv which opens up to a big beautiful patio and amazing back yard with patio dinning, hot tub, fire pit and gas bbq. The kitchen is the center of our home with a large island and top notch stainless steel appliances gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator. We have stocked the kitchen with quality dishes, glassware, cookware and serving pieces. There is room to move here with 3 bedrooms a front living area with gas fireplace, big open kitchen and large family room with another gas fireplace. Step outside to our patio with string lights on the arbor and a new bbq. The garden has plenty of grass to play with nice shade trees and is fully fenced. Steps away is our brand new big hot tub set at 101 degrees. You can enjoy the evening around the fire pit. There is easy parking for 3 cars. We are close to the airport but we have upgraded insulation for a peaceful nights sleep. A newly installed EV charger is availble for an additional cost. Enjoy our private home like a luxury resort!

Fantastic find!
This house was perfect for our stay. It was centrally located to where we would be going. The backyard was beautiful and relaxing to hang out in. The amenities were well thought out and you could tell the hosts put a lot of effort into making sure guest are comfortable and have everything they need during thier stay. Will definitely look to stay here again if we need a place in Seattle in the future.

Amazing Home
My husband and in-laws stayed with our 18 month old son. The home was beautiful and has more space than expected. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of, the location was perfect for us because we didn’t want to be in downtown Seattle, but close enough to do some of the tourist things. If we ever come back to Seattle I would absolutely stay here again.

Greatest Stay Ever
This host is absolutely the best. We had EVERYTHING we needed and more. It was like being at home in my own home. Thoughtful touches everywhere. We felt very welcomed. We had a couple minor questions and the host responded almost immediately. We had a 5 day stay with adult children. It was a quick trip into the city when we had to go but the location had all the amenities - restaurants, shopping, etc that we needed. The backyard was superbly maintained and it was a great sunny Seattle weekend so we were able to use the outdoor amenities - all first class. Do Not hesitate to book here. Thank you so much Gretchen !! We would not hesitate to book again if we need to be in the area.

We loved our stay at this house. It is super clean and has lots of little extras to make up for the things I always forget. The location is perfect - it is easy to get everywhere. This is a beautiful house with all the necessary stuff present, and Gretchen is a wonderful host, caring and responsive. Our stay here could not be any better and I would easily give this place 12 out of 10 if I could. It is as close to "home away from home" as it gets, and we do know where to stay if we are in the Seattle area again.

We had an awesome time here! House is well kept with everything you could want and need from things for babies, teens, and even pets. Hot tub was a huge hit for the kids. Beutiful neighborhood with people constantly going for walks. Yard is beautiful and big for daughters dog to run around. We are definitely staying here anytime we visit our kids. Great location to grocery stores and restaurants. 7 min drive to airport without having to go on the freeways.

Lovely Place and Property Manager
We’ve stayed at a bunch of VRBO rentals and this was by far the nicest (and we’ve paid close to $1,000 per night at other places lesser quality). The property managers are so wonderful as well. We stayed so we would be close to the airport and it was. Note that it wasn’t so close that you couldn’t sleep at night with all the noise. We never heard a thing.

Great place to stay
We flew up from so cal to celebrate Christmas with our daughter her husband and dog. Location was close to airport and 15 minutes to downtown, which we went to a few times! The house was very clean, welcoming, and completely upgraded. The host Gretchen had it very well decorated for Christmas, including snacks, which just made us feel like home. Backyard was nice and the spa so relaxing. The neighborhood was safe. We walked late at night and in the morning. The kitchen was great with everything needed to make a home cooked meal. Didn’t feel the need to go out. Highly recommend staying here. If we come back to Seattle area we would definitely stay here again.
