A 5-star property is one that the owners clearly stay in themselves on occasion, in my opinion. Living at the property occasionally allows an owner to notice that there are not enough towels for their guests to avoid having to do laundry, that the housecleaners are never cleaning the sliding glass door and patio off the downstairs bedroom, that the furnishings need to be comfortable as well as inexpensive, that the lack of a trash can . in the laundry room or of any full-length mirrors is inconvenient, that the landscaper responsible for maintaining the front lawn and borders is completely missing in action, etc.
On the plus side, which is considerable, the property is mostly clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the landlord is very quick to respond to inquiries. This property is not at the top of the price range and does not purport to be of Premier Host quality, and is a fair value for the price charged. With only a bit more landlord involvement and attentiveness, it could easily be a top quality rental.
