'Consider yourself lucky to stay at this place! Great location: not too far from town/ferry; located on an accessible beach to explore. We stayed for 4 nights, and it was perfect for our short trip. The host was very accommodating & helpful for us first-time visitors to Orcas Island. 'The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!'

'Two different fairies were canceled on our way to the property. They very graciously gave us a free late checkout, and had us all taken care of so we could just go directly to the room. She answered my 50,000 questions with patients and good cheer, and they had really delicious muffins and free tea in the morning for us. 'Onze kamer was luidruchtig wegens een buitenlamp die aan het zoemen was. Het personeel was zo vriendelijk ons een andere kamer te geven. De kamers waren heel klein, je kon niet leunen tegen de bedrand om nr tv te kijken. De tv's waren geen flatsceens. Maar de kamers waren wel netjes. Op loopafstand van het centrum.'

'It is a few blocks from the downtown area so it's quieter than others. The design is nice and the hotel has a good deal of amenities. The room seems a bit aged'
