Stunning breakfast room serving top breakfast. Very friendly and accomodating hosts, freshly brewed coffee and cupcakes on arrival. In short: Perfect stay, 10/10'

'The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April.'

'My stay at the Pier Hotel was very pleasant. The staff were excellent & the room was clean. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom had a long window which was clear glass & the blind had to be permanently pulled down otherwise anyone walking past can see someone sitting on the toilet or having a shower.'

'The room was great, lovely quiet location and staff were very helpful. Having the suite was a real treat although a shelf or platform by the freestanding bath and extra toiletries would have been nice. The property is ideal for an exclusive break but looking a bit tired in places, they could make much more of the gardens, which looked rather unkept, but perhaps the time of year was a factor. Unfortunately the fine dining options were not available, which for a bank holiday weekend was...
