'Vacances de Noël en famille dans une maison spacieuse avec cascades, moulin, ile (presque paradisiaque) malgré un temps maussade sauf une journée où nous avons pu nous plonger dans la BD angoumoisine. Vive La Charente (libre)!!!.'

'Heerlijke vakantiewoning in een rustige buurt. Smaakvol ingerichte ruime woning met alles voorhanden. Ideaal om tot rust te komen met zicht op velden. Vlotte communicatie met eigenaar.'

'Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

'We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.'

'Le manoir est superbe ! Belle immersion dans un décor rustique et sans chichi… plaisir à profiter de cet immense jardin entretenu avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. De beaux moments de partages familiaux et de repos au frais avec ce temps chaud ! Plusieurs plans d’eau permettant la baignade on régalés petits et grands. Et enfin un grand merci à notre hôte qui a pris le temps de nous raconter l’histoire de ce manoir et nous donner de bons conseils pour visiter la région.'

'Het huis ligt in een zeer rustig dorpje, maar fantastisch gelegen in de natuur. De woning zelf heeft ook een zeer grote tuin met veel groen, een beekje op het einde van de tuin, en alles wat je als gezin nodig hebt. Er is een bakker op wandelafstand, de supermarkt is 8min rijden met de wagen. De keuken is ook goed voorzien van keukengerief. Jason is een zeer goeie gastheer, zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie daar, van de rust, de natuur, het leuke zwembad...

'A lovely historic house with the needed modern facilities. Great reception by the hosts with nice drinks and food. The bakery is next door. Staying here for some time makes you feel like one of the villagers.'

'Het huisje is precies zoals omschreven op de site. Een leuk welkomstpakket bij aankomst. We hebben Mike kort gezien als hij proper linnen kwam brengen maar de communicatie liep zeer goed. We hadden verwacht dat Civray zelf iets levendiger zou zijn, dat was een beetje een teleurstelling.'

'Très bon accueil. Gîte super beau et très fonctionnel. Nous étions 9 et 2 chiens. Clôturé donc aucun stress pour enfants et chiens Nous avons apprécié notre séjour en famille Il y a tout ce qu’il faut sur place.'

'En vacances avec notre petit bout de 4 mois, nous avions besoin de calme et le gite d'Irène nous a apporté tout le calme dont nous avions besoin. De plus, sa localisation permet de visiter quelques villes très sympathiques à environ 1h30. Nous recommandons de visiter Nanteuil, un joli village à 20 min du gîte.'
