Lakeview Cottage is a sympathetically restored building attached to the farmhouse, which is our holiday home. It is situated down a country lane just off the main road and there is ample private parking in front of the farmhouse. It is in a rural, peaceful location but not isolated, with the charming village of St Denis Le Gast a 30 minute stroll away.
Downstairs, there is an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area, and a child's high chair is also provided. There is a comfy sofa and two armchairs, along with a TV which has French and English Freesat channels. Wifi is free.
Also, there is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin. The staircase leads to the first floor bedrooms and a child safety gate is also provided. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The upstairs bathroom has a sink, toilet and there is a shower over the bath.
Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels, tea towels, toilet roll and cleaning products are all provided. Electric, gas and water are included in the rental cost.
Outside, the cottage has its own private lawned area, with steps leading into a communal garden.
A parasol, table, and chairs are provided for outside dining.
Within the grounds there are two lakes, where you can enjoy watching and feeding the fish (unfortunately fishing is not permitted).
