Very nice house
This little vacation home was excellent. It was very clean and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable open format. It really felt quite spacious. A lot of nice little touches, like the coffee/cocoa bar had Torani syrups and locally made ceramic mugs. Each bunk bed had it's own theme and stuffies to snuggle with. A few different sitting areas, each with very comfortable chairs. The beds were comfortable. The double set of french doors in the front open up accordian style, which opened up the whole front of the house -- very nice for a refreshing morning breeze. We were visited in the morning by a buck snacking on the apple tree. Don't let the plainness of the exterior fool you -- this is a beautiful place. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this place earned 5 stars from me!

Great place to stay!
We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food! Also, you can stop at St. Isabel and Bishops Castle along the way. You won’t be sorry you chose to stay at this lovely little house!

We were in town for a wedding the weekend we stayed. We needed a place in a central location to everything we needed (and of course comfortable.) This really for the bill. We were right next to the diner for breakfast, a short drive from the wedding venue, and close enough to the highway to visit Bishop Castle. The property owner was helpful, accommodating, and quick with a response via chat. The house was comfortable and clean. I cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic Experience!
I cannot say enough good things about this charming and cozy house! The large open kitchen area, well thought out decor, and hand painted walls are so welcoming and pleasing to the eye. This house truly had anything you could need. I really loved the sun room with books and games as well as the patio next to the apple trees. My boys enjoyed having hot chocolate in front of the small electric fireplace and we woke up to a beautiful buck just outside the window. Andrea was more than accommodating and a wonderful host! We loved staying at your quiet get-away spot. Everything that we needed was there. It was all so comfortable. I especially enjoyed the sunshine each morning and spent time basking in it in the small sunroom. We also enjoyed the small town main street with good food and friendly people. We saw deer everyday in town and on our lovely scenic drives and walks. Took a short drive to Bishops castle....fascinating! And had a really good dinner at Three Sisters Tavern. Great time of year to go as the tourist season is not in bloom.
