'It is exactly as the photos show. I arrived late, was walked to the hut (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and I admit I was skeptical of how well I’d be able to sleep with no walls to keep the bugs out. No bugs bothered me at all. 'La casa esta bien, pero hay cositas que arreglar por seguridad como las puertas que no cogen los seguros bien, habia polvo en ventanas y no se veia que habia sido limpiada antes de recibirnos, la ventana de la cocina necesita poder cerrarse para que no se escape la llama de la estufa y entra mucho sol por esa ventana (alguna cortina). Deben sugerir las mejores rutas a tomar para llegar a la casa dependiendo de donde venga el huesped, el GPS te tira por las peores carreteras. '

We did have a difficult time with communication prior to check in, as the host didn't reply to several messages about how to get in over the 24 hours before our check in. 'We decided to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days and enjoyed our stay. Be prepared for curvy mountain roads. Night driving in the area was difficult, so come in during daylight hours. House doesn’t have A/C, but it has lots of windows for cool breezes. It was nice to experience this part of PR.'

'This was our second time staying at the Hacienda. We absolutely loved it. There’s so much to do at home, our teenager and young adults were never bored. We swam, played games and music. Although there is a tv available, it wasn't needed nor missed. Staying here made for some quality family time. Coral and Camacho made our stay beyond comfortable. It was perfect, we hope to stay again soon!'

'Reinaldo and Iris, the couple who rent the apartment, are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ciudad del Tomate. The mountain surroundings and local shops, especially the coffee houses, are superb. If I am ever in central Puerto Rico in the future, I will definitely stay there again.'
