'Loved this property and our holiday there. Fantastic gite out in the beautiful countryside with everything you need for your holiday - the open plan layout worked really well in the hot weather. Owners are next door and are super friendly and are ready to help if needed. We took our bikes so a short ride (also walkable) down to Laprade for the cool pizza restuarant/bar or a little further to Aubterre which has a beach by the river and the stunning village has plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants...

'Beautiful property, stone and beams inside, very rustic, equiped with everything you could need including BBQ and very comfy bed! Wonderful views whichever way you looked, a lovely pond where I saw fish, frogs and water snakes! The owners Sarah and Tim are fantastic! Such lovely friendly people with a wealth of local knowledge! (Including advising us of the best way to get to the rugby in Bordeaux!) I must also mention Tia, their rescue dog who we became very fond of! Such a well behaved...

'Het huis was geweldig en de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk . Voor ons was dit gedeelte van de Dordogne te vlak. we houden van motorrijden en in dit gedeelte miste we de bergen en ook de mooie wandelroutes. Ook was het te warm om dit alles te ondernemen, misschien hadden we meer ondernomen als het wat kouder was. Maar de vrijheid van de accommodatie was geweldig. Dankjewel Serge en zijn vrouw, het gaat jullie goed.'

'Location assez rustique par rapport a l'annonce mais le propriétaire est super et a l'écoute,le cadre et très bien auusi ,apéritif sur la terrasse au milieux des poules ânes et la surprise d'un chevreuil.super pour la déconnections et les ballades en forêt .'

'Lovely cosy apartment with all amenities (even detergents) present. The gas powered heater is a huge plus in colder weather. The walled garden is very practically if you have a dog with you. The host’s hospitality is wonderful and she is very helpful. Recommended for 2 to 3 people. '
