'It was very poorly maintained. The yurt was falling apart, the vegetation was not maintained and there was rotten trees and leaves everywhere. When it rained the stone stairs became slippery due to all the leaves, plus all the trail lamps didn’t work , glad we had headlamps. Yurt was unsafe and falling apart, they told us to step on two planks at a time. 'Vom Dach des Hotels konnte man den Dhaulagiri, 8167m sehen. Schon 2015 war ich auf der Suche nach einem Ort, von wo man diesen 8000-er sehen kann. Auf gut Glück fuhr ich damals mit dem Bus nach Baglung, sah ein Reklame-Schild für das Peace Palace Hotel mit dem Dhaulagiri darauf, ging dorthin und fragte nach dem Dhaulagiri-Blick. 'We stayed here for a day coming back from Poonhill and it was one of best experience we had in Sarangkot. View from deluxe room was spectacular with mountain view from one side and city view from other. And we watched sunrise from our bed itsellf and wow what a great time it was with red sun and mountains on the side.
