'This was our first time staying at an "off-grid" hotel, and it was very pleasant. It i a difficult place to get to, requires a cr and a boat ride from the airport, which was included in the price of the stay. Bring lots of mosquito repellent. All meals are included and are really delicious, and there is unlimited coffee and tea and a lovely outdoor lounge with hammocks and internet above the lobby. 'Hotel was nice! Close to the river, convenient place. The service was great. However, the room was not good. Although we asked for non- smoking the room smelled like cigarettes. Also, it seemed the room was recently u der constructions and there were some things out of place. Tv was not working at first and it was replaced.'

'Hotel familial de bonne qualité. Très propre. Bon petit déjeuner. Sans luxe mais bien construit. Problème d'eau chaude qui tarde ou bien ne vient jamais. Un peu bruyant.'

'Carlos was amazing picking us up at the airport. The accommodations were pretty marginal and the disco next door was a huge bummer. LOUD music until 2 AM granted it was a Friday night and Peruvian Independence Day. We had a very tasty breakfast made for us when we woke up. In the morning Carlos' wife was incredible. She helped us sort out our rainforest lodge booking.'

'The Chombi House is the perfect place for a family or small group to have a relaxing retreat in the Peruvian jungle. Elmer is a very gracious host, and his family all participates in preparing and serving the meals in the common eating area. The bungalow is very comfortable and the pool is very welcome in the heat of the day.
