'Turks and Caicos is an expensive island so there was good value in staying at The Sands. They are within walking distance to a small downtown area and to their sister hotel, The Palms. Food at Hemingway’s was good and the restaurant is conveniently located close to the pool and beach, however they have a tiny bar area and infrequent service to the beach area. There would be better use of space if they had a bar area on the deck closer to the beach. We had some issues with our lights not shutting...

'We had a great time here. Lovely location. It was close to beaches, right next to Chalk Sound (which is beautiful) and Sapodilla Hill. Make sure you take the boat ride offered here. It was so much fun and worth the price. The room was very clean and had everything you would need. We would definitely visit again. '

'Don't book. The worst of the worst. False advertising! No white sand, no sound proof room, no restaurant on site, and no help when there is problems. Yes it's cheaper, because it's dirty and advertise untrue. 'This is a gem of a hotel! The pick you up and bring you to the airport, besides that they have a shuttle service to the town en beach. The people of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful.
