'My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property. Definitely a bit of a climb especially with our luggage but we had some help from some of the friendly locals so we made it! Would definitely visit again. The only problem was our...

'We had a truly amazing stay in the wonderful house of Antonio. From the kitchen balcony and bedroom you have a direct view on the sea. A 3 minute walk brings you into the restaurant area. We chose Riomaggiore for hiking to Portovenere and Monterosso as it is the central city of Cinque Terre. Both Antonio and the person managing the check-in were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Don’t look further!'

'The apartment was clean but there were not toilet paper, not hot water, not microwave or any kitchen utensils. The communication was awful, responded hours after texting the host. The location is very pretty but really difficult to get there, lots of stairs. '

'Abbiamo soggiornato a casa bouganvillea con amici e bambini e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Rosi è carinissima e disponibile, piena di premure. La casa è molto accogliente e dotata di tutto, manca la cucina per essere totalmente rinnovata ma è comoda e confortevole, comoda anche per raggiungere posti incantevoli. 'Clean, great view and neighborhood, easy access to restaurants and stores, nicely organized rooms for 2 couples! We had bad weather but it didn’t stop us from enjoying all that is Cinque Terre! Excellent location to public transportation. But one warning…lots of cobblestone steps to enter/exit the apartment. We counted 82! Several times a day and your legs are burning!! Whew!!'

Our main reason for selecting this property was because it listed a hot tub as one of the amenities but it failed to have one. The walking distances listed are also misleading. Best location to be

"We had a lovely time in het appartement. Er is maar 1 slaapkamer maar er zijn veel extra slaapplaatsen in de kamer te maken. Beetje camperen in de woonkamer maar wel lekker om de pubers een eigen plek te geven. Uitzicht is fabuleus met alle jachten die voorbij komen. Leuk 10 /15 minuten wandeling (terug de berg op) naar restaurants. Leuke tips van de eigenaar. Het appartement is wel gedatteerd, wc was stuk (werd snel gerepareerd), keuken is heel klein met twee pitjes. Maar uitzicht maakt alles goed, we komen hier graag nog een keer terug."
