'We hebben genoten van dit prachtige huis met zwembad veranda en grote tuin. De villa heeft een mooie huiselijk inrichting. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. Ook de barbecue en pizza oven met buitenkeuken maken het compleet. Onze kinderen en kleinkinderen hebben genoten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'

'Als ik een cijfer van 1 tot 10 zou mogen geven zou het een 12 zijn. Het is uitzonderlijk. Een prachtig huisje op een groot landgoed waar verder niemand is. Een ochtend (of op een ander tijdstip) wandeling op het landgoed is fenomenaal. MAAR! de beschrijving van de afstanden kloppen NIET. Stranden liggen zeker niet op loop afstand. Er zijn veel stranden in de buurt, maar die zijn een klein half uurtje rijden. Geen enkel probleem maar het is goed om dat te weten. Op de kaart staat het huisje in...

'This is a perfect accommodation for people looking for a bit of peace, and the Portuguese country life. You will find yourself surrounded by agricultural fields, and quiet beaches located just minutes away. Next to the house is an important hiking route through the fields. The house has a piece of land. The household is practical, and the owners are very friendly and helpful in answering any questions you may have. You will notice immediately that it is a pet friendly accommodation.'

'Peaceful stay in a big house with all the necessary commodities. Peaceful surroundings, table for meals outside, great balconies and a hamek. The owner, Anna, was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back soon.'

'nothing but compliments, only 1 tip: a one pager with some local guidances (doctors, supermarkets, need for additional towels/toilet paper). the man that was present at our arrival only speaks portuguese and we didn't. although he was very friendly, he wasn't much of help'

'I had paid for breakfast for 2 through Hotels.com. My receipt showed this. The manager said Hotels.com had not informed her we could have breakfast. I was unable to get through other than a Virtual Assistant. Other than that, it is a peaceful location,…and great for fasting in the morning.'

'Das Haus ist wunderbar mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, alles funktioniert tadellos und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Wir reisen viel und nur alle paar Jahre treffen wir auf einen Ort mit so viel positiver und ruhiger Athosphäre. Wir können es nur empfehlen hier zu buchen, durch die Gegend zu spazieren und zu den nächsten Stränden zu fahren. In der Nebensaison ist es nicht überfüllt, was wir lieben (weniger touristisch als die Argarve). Cercal ist ein netter portugiesicher Ort, freundliche...

'Heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze mooie en sfeervolle woning. Prachtig gelegen en voorzien van alle gemakken. Ontvangst was hartelijk en communicatie liep soepel. Perfecte locatie voor een vakantie met vrienden of familie.'

'La casa es pequeña pero agradable y está recién reformada. Es del estilo tradicional de la zona. Cerca de playas maravillosas y del pueblo. El único inconveniente es que está junto a una carretera con mucho tráfico.'

'Nous avons fait un sejour express de 2 nuits. L'accueil est très sympa. Le logement est conforme à l'annonce, propre, frais et bien aménagé. Le site est calme et naturel. La piscine de la residence est propre et disponible jusqu'à 21h. Nous reviendrons probablement pour un séjour plus long'

Unreliable and overpriced

"Apartment in condominium with rusted steel doors and not working shutters. We rented this apartment because of the advertised garage. Its use was specific confirmed before booking. On arrival however, a remote for the outer garage door would cost 10 euros/day extra! Also the advertised dishwasher and bureau were not there. There is no cable tv, the web TV and DTV just give the 4 free Portuguese channels.Wifi was ok but already shut off on the day of departure. The tiled building can be noisy at times (other users and the noisy ventilation of the restaurant kitchen) The apartment has good beds with clean bed linen but also lot of uncomfortable and useless furniture and decorations, Bright white LED lighting except for the bathroom where this would be nice. No hanging locker in double bedroom so you have to hang your trousers over a chair. Kitchen is somewhat worn and sticky but workable. Gas geyser for hot water and electric plate for cooking. No spontaneous information/ instructions from Cristine. "
