'Staff were exceptionally helpful, particularly Indra & Bikram. They could not do enough to ensure we had a fabulous stay. Even the resort owner interacted with occupants on a daily basis. Beautiful resort overlooking the lake that provides great dinning options with much of the produce grown at the resort. Rooms are well designed using eco friendly materials & are spacious & clean. We had a fabulous stay & cannot recommend Dorjes enough. '

'We chose this hotel to relax and recover from staying in hospital in Kathmandu after a urinary infection. We had stayed there for two days, during which it rained and hailed a lot and because there is nothing else on walking distance we ate all meals in the hotel’s restaurant. During these two days there were hardly any guests, which made us worry how they managed to stay open.
