'The best part about our stay was the private beach access. While the house was cute and what you’d generally expect for a beach house, there were a number of things that were disappointing given the price of the rental. For example, it was advertised that there was a washing machine but you couldn’t load the detergent. One of the air vents was taped into the wall (otherwise it fell out) and it was difficult to open/lock some of the doors.'

The location was perfect--walking distance to both the ocean and the bay-side dog beach at Taylor Ave, along with all the great dining options Beach Haven has to offer. 'Newly renovated property just 1.5 blocks from the boardwalk/beach. Our contact, Erick, was responsive and friendly. The living room and kitchen area are open floor plan so it's a great place to hang out with comfy seating. One thing to note, the $250 deposit is due in cash when you arrive and returned when you leave. Our fam had a great time!'

'There was a glitch at check-in and owner was unavailable (due to work related issues) which caused delays in getting into property. After a 5hr drive with kids it was frustrating. All fixed eventually. Love this place would come back.'

Rose was a great host who was extremely responsive and communicative, and the location was ideal for a super short walk to the parade.
