'Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs).'

'What a wonderful place to be! The road to the house was quite an adventure, because of the narrow lanes, holes in the roads and overhanging branches. But once you’re there…fantastic view, great walks, no neighbors, a paradise for the dog, beach nearby with great food and always friendly people. The house has everything you need, and contact with the owner is very pleasant!'

'We have had nice days at the Fishermans Cottage. However, we have certainly missed some things.: It is difficult to manage the central heating, and to keep it going on cold days. The ventilation in the bathroom (basement) is lacklustre, but hey that might be part of the deal. We missed some large frying pan/wayang. The village is very authentic - i.e. not truly accessible by the current family cars. This was not clearly indicated. And last but not least, the bed-matrasses are a real drama,...

'The main positive about the cottage is the location - it is just a few minutes walk to the waterfront and barbican area where you will find everything you need for a wonderful visit to Plymouth. The cottage however is not a very restful place to stay. There are 2 quite challenging staircases to negotiate which include places where you have to duck to avoid banging your head. The bedroom is on the top floor and the only toilet is on the ground floor so it is particularly difficult if you need to...

'Great Nights stay. Right in the middle of the Barbican on the harbour and a great house - well maintained, clean and tasteful interior with a relaxed feeling. Booking in was a nightmare as Plymouth didn't have a phone signal anywhere that day for some reason, so made it all a bit stressful. Cottages.com didn't put the codes on the email and its isn't very clear when you book through vrbo that its another company that send the email out. looks like spam. I just read it as, everything is on...

'Lovely cottage, the owner reached out prior amd asked us about cot / highchair and then advised the best way to get there as the lanes arent great however nice and easy to find! Cottahe was immaculate! Everything within driving distance. We took our 2yr old daughter, plenty of space for her to run around and plenty of room to set up cot in either spare room, master room was lovely and spacious, wouldnt hesitate to go there again!'

'I've stayed at Foxhouse Studios several times. The rooms are comfortable and warm and modern. The staff are nice. It's very central.'

'The flat itself was very good. A great location, big and airy, a bit shabby chic but nice. The service from the local agent (PlumLocations) was terrible. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. Pretty shabby customer service.'

'The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! '

good value, great location

"Everything was good, apart from the coffee at breakfast. Investing in a good coffee machine with decent coffee beans would be a big improvement (I couldn't drink the coffee). Also provide some small espresso cups which many foreign guests would prefer. Despite this small complaint, I would recommend the Hotel. Nioce people, great location, good value."
