'I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying...

'Heerlijk zwembad, mooi gelegen aan het strand, uitstekend restaurant. Mooi appartement met lekkere bedden. Goede wifi. Luxe uitstraling gaf ons een luxe gevoel Wat wel jammer was: personeel steeds heel welwillend, bv dat iets het niet doet of een taxi bellen. Maar dan werd het toch vergeten, taxi te laat, ijsblokjesmachine zelf gerepareerd. Terwijl het niet druk was. In het appartement: lamp op balkon mist, droogrek mist, weinig glaswerk (geen wijn-of bierglazen)'

'The Ellysian was a fantastic stay for our family of 4. It is a great location - beachfront and a nice enough deep pool. The staff are exceptional - super friendly and helpful. They really stood out as soooooo nice! The location is great - walk to everything. The room was also very clean and appointed well with plenty of towels, fridge, microwave... even though we brought our own toiletries, my kids loved the hotels shampoo, conditioner and body wash. 'We only spent 2 nights in the Wahoo room. Hotel was clean and staff respectable. We had added our 21 year old daughter after the reservation was initially made and they were very accommodating to add her. Beach was great and we really enjoyed time at the swim up bar and Jolly the bartender. The bed was pretty firm, so that bothered my wife's hips some. One bonus over other places we have stayed on this 2 week trip around the country is they had an easily accessible ice machine by the front...
