Pismo Beach, a classic beach town, is located on California’s famous central coast, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along Pacific Coast and 101 Highways. We offer long white beaches for taking a pleasant stroll or for just enjoying the spectacular views of the Pismo Beach sunset. Enjoy Pismo’s great weather and fabulous area wineries. Prefer a more active vacation? Central Coast Golfing, riding the dunes in a four-wheel ATV, horseback riding, surfing, body boarding, or fishing can all be part of a Pismo Beach vacation. Take a leisurely walk on our award-winning boardwalk adjacent to the Pismo pier.
PISMO BEACH CLIFF WALK - This is an AMAZING walking path starting at the Sea Crest hotel, that is only one block away. Access the path at the Sea Crest Hotel to the right of their pool and walk north. The path connects between all the hotels and is only 1 mile to Dinosaur Caves Park. This walk can't be missed!!
EDNA VALLEY WINE TASTING - 10 minute gorgeous drive
From Pismo Beach, you can meander down rural Price Canyon Road through the Edna Valley, taking in rich farmland and vibrant vineyards against a backdrop of oak-studded verdant hills and stroll through lush rows of grapes. Swirl, sip and savor exquisitely handcrafted wines of the noble Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and other cherished varieties. With wine tasting rooms open year-round, a pleasurable, unpretentious experience is guaranteed. Most of Edna Valley wineries are small boutique operations, often family-owned and operated.
