'The house itself is quite nice, but there quite a few remarks to be made: - On arrival the house smelled moldy. - Obviously there is no standard pest control. After we found live cockroaches in the curtains on the first floor, we called the caretaker. Pest control arrived. The smell was terrible for several hours (mind you we lived in the tropics for 5 years with pest control coming by every fortnight and we never smelled anything!). 'We stayed at the property for 2 weeks and found it perfect for a base camp to go out on adventures. When we wanted to have a relaxing day the Beach is right across the road, and we had the whole thing to ourselves (we swam in the ocean near the shore, however heard a few times it is dangerous, did not seem dangerous at all while we were there. But use caution). Pool was also nice for quick dips for the kids. Property comes across exactly as it looks. Jacky and Nes are just around the corner if...

'Villa was perfect right by an empty beach and has a lovely pool. Breakfast every morning delivered by Kay was a treat. Great little foods stalls outside every evening. We loved that there are hardly any tourists, just Thai’s going about their business. Jacky and Nes are amazing hosts nothing is too much trouble, taking us out to see some of the sites and a terrific restaurant and market too. Would love to return and highly recommend this area.'
