'The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. At the check-in, the staff asked if we had any allergies or special needs but he didn't provide anything extra at the breakfast... Check-in was horrible. We couldn't pay with our credit card or we had to pay a 15% extra fee. After a discussing of 1 hour We had to pay in cash.'

'Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS. The rooms are a nice size. Ours had an extra 1 person bed, but some also have a sitting corner. Unfortunately we didn't get one of the rooms with balcony, although the strong prevailing winds probably would lessen the use. The bathroom was also a good size. Unfortunately there is no...

'Keurige mooie kamer met goede, ruime bedden. Mooie aankleding, compleet en goede badkamer. Heerlijk zwembad (wel erg warm water) en sauna. Hotel is iets verder weg uit het centrum maar het comfort en luxe maken dat meer dan goed. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Ontbijt is ook prima.'

'I stayed here for about a week, it was great. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Comfortable bed and amazing views. It was quiet and relaxing and just a short walk from the main street of el Calafate. Would definitely stay here again!'

'We had a ok stay. Rooms are very small but cosy. It’s clean and the beds are fine. It’s quite noisy so bring earplugs. There is a bridge at the end of the street which makes continuously a weird noice when cars across (aso at night) It’s 10-15 min walk to the mainstreet of El Calafate.'

'Ontbijt was gratis bij hotelkamer. Echter werden we in een apartement gestopt, vanwege tekort aan kamers...en toen moesten we het ontbijt 100 pesos = 7€ pp betalen. Dit hebben ze later teruggedraaid.. Kamers zijn groot maar erg jaren 60/70'

'It is in a residential area :10 minutes walk from bus terminal and about 15 minutes to the city center. Ask for a taxi transfer if you have heavy luggage or wheeled luggage. The cottage house is among the most beautiful, we have stayed in, with tasteful collections, overlooking a garden with lupines and a far view of lake argentina. Hosts, living close by, are very responsive, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to have spent substantial more time . '

"Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so guests don't miss anything. "
