The house would have been great — if everything had been working. But, on the day we were to check in, we were informed by text that one shower and the dryer were not working. We were told that they wouldn’t be fixed that week — and that no reduction in rent was possible.

Thought you should know, Smoke alarm upstairs went SCREAMING off and we had to go outaide and sit in our car. They had to come qith a ladder to get it down. Should be on the wall insread of a 10 ft ceiling. KEURIG DIDNT WORK AND DOORS WON'T LOCK.

Wonderful time at the beach
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is perfectly located to everything, and adjacent to a paved path through the woodsy beach home neighborhood to the long stretch of beautiful, walkable beach, with Haystack Rock front and center. The home is comfortable and well maintained, with everything you need.

We love Pacific City
A great beach house. It was spacious for our group of four adults, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable sofa and beds, great location, big garage with bikes, barbecue and games, and a warming gas fireplace which was perfect for morning and evening. I especially appreciated the downstairs bedroom. There was timely and informative communication with the hosts. I’d be happy to stay there again.

Came for the Cape Kiwanda Long Board Classic with adult kids. The property was as promised, clean, great location and amenities. Appreciate the property manager was so responsive when we had questions. Loved there was a grill, bikes and a place to store all the boards. Plan to book again.

Property as described. Well appointed to enjoy your stay, beautiful home. Appreciated the small gift left on counter for us. Walking path right behind house that was perfect for walking the dogs and easy access to beach. One small issue was with the washer and dryer not working, we travel light and ran out of clean clothes expecting to be able to wash clothes during the week. We received an email saying don't use in the middle of our stay but no further correspondance on fixing it. Minor set back, but still highly recommend staying here. some during the week small problem that caused a littl

Great Location but needs some TLC...
This was our first stay in Pacific City, and it was great that the house was within walking distance to the beach--although you had to cross a good-sized dune to reach it. Luckily there was a nice wooden ramp up to the dune itself from the paved neighborhood paths. It was the coming back up from the beach that almost did us in. The next time we walked back on the road. Communication with the management company was good, but there were some things that resulted in our overall 3 star rating. The day we were to check in, we received a text, in the morning, from the mgmt company saying the dryer was broken, and wouldn't be fixed until after our stay. Then a second text the same day, said the upstairs shower/tub was broken and wouldn't be repaired, again until after our stay. Now looking back, we feel we should have been offered a different property, as those are two pretty significant things. Especially since we hadn't yet arrived and we were now 4 people having to share one shower, when two were advertised. Or at least an offer to refund some of our money... Mgmt. company texted the next morning to check on us. We said: high-ceiling light out (though there were lamps), broken blinds, and the worst, tons of mouse droppings all around the exterior doors. Although we never saw any mice, it didn't give us a great feeling of cleanliness. They did send someone to change the lightbulb. With no ladder. Also no acknowledgement of mice. Probably won't stay there again.

Great stay close to beach and restaurants.
This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary and bring our dog for her first beach trip. It is a well-appointed, cozy location with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Our only criticisms were the fence around the dog run had quite a few gaps (our dog even got out once) and the bikes/games/bbq in the garage were inaccessible/locked. Other than that, it was a great place to hang our bucket hats. Also, if you're unfamiliar with Pacific City, beach access can be a bit hilly. It's quite a climb from the house, up the dune, down the dune to the beach, and back again. Not a criticism of the house, management, etc. – just something that should be considered.

Nice cottage in Springbrook
Very comfortable. Nicely and cleverly decorated. Beds clean and comfortable. Kitchen equipped with sufficient dinnerware and cooking pans and serving dishes. The windows looked like they didn't get spring cleaning. The carpet looked as if had some amount of use since the last cleaning. Overall a PLEASANT home away from home.!

Great dog-friendly vacation house next to the beach
The house was clean with a nice, relaxing vibe. Just a short walk down a paved path and up a boardwalk ramp left us at the top of a small dune overlooking the beach. Lots of amenities in the town, too. The family, and the dog, loved it!

Comfy, cozy and clean!
We enjoyed our time and the place was great! The only issues we had was the tv in the LR wouldn’t work. We were in contact with the manager but the issue was never resolved. Wasn’t a huge deal but would’ve been nice to have been able to watch movies in the evenings. Also, would be nice to include Saran Wrap and/or foil in the kitchen.

Wonderful house in great location
The house, beds, and amenities were outstanding. Plus, the neighborhood has an abundance of paved walking paths and it is very quiet in terms of traffic and noise. My wife and I felt right at home and highly recommend this place.

Spring Getaway
This is a wonderful beach rental. Very clean. Within easy walking distance of the beach, Pelican Brewery, a coffee shop, small market and a tacos/burgers place. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans, etc, for cooking meals. It was an easy drive to Lincoln City. Beds were very comfortable. It was quiet. The gas fireplace was cozy. I would definitely book it again.

Cozy, warm late Fall retreat.
Enjoyed a rainy mixed stay at the beachcomber late in the season. Enjoyed the space, especially flipping the switch on the fireplace. Great location, short walk to the beach. Distant view of the Haystack from the upstairs, back bedroom. Found the kitchen well stocked, everything we needed to cook our local seafood purchases. Well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms, appliances and easy access. Thanks for a great Mother Daughter get away!

Great place!
We enjoyed our time at this beach rental. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Our family of five (three adult children) and one dog had a great time exploring the area. Access to the beach is steep but convenient for able body people. Otherwise a short walk or drive will get you to an easier accessible area. We appreciated the fenced dog run on the side of the house. It made playing fetch safe for my daughter’s dog. The community and beach is really nice and we would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable house that is just a short walk to the dunes and ocean. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beach. Wish we could have checked in earlier than 5:00 p.m.
