'Dieses Haus ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Bilder an den Wänden sind kleine Kunstwerke, total süß. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist vor dem Haus auf den Bänken. Dort kann man total abschalten. In den wunderschönen Vorgarten zu schauen und die Abendsonne zu genießen ist himmlisch. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. 'Listing stated that the home is 8557 square feet. That is not true, Listing also stated that the home has 3 baths. That also is not true. The method of drying clothes is by using a clothes line behind the home which also gets sprayed by the lawn sprinklers multiple times a day. Home does not have Air Conditioning and was too hot to sleep with windows closed. Home also has a pool which attracts insects which left us and our friends covered in bug bites each morning.'

'The townhouse was nice and well-maintained, and not too far away from many things to do in Franschhoek! Directions/instructions on how to get there (what the actual address is) could be improved, as we originally tried to check in to the apartments near Motherdough. Additionally, there was a very off-putting smell coming from under the kitchen sink that we could not find a source for. Overall, a good stay.'

'Das Haus ist wirklich ganz toll und ganz neu. Die Betreuung durch Miriam war erstklassig. Wenn etwas was war (zum Glück gab es fast nichts) dann war sie sofort da und ansprechbar. Der Blick von der Terrasse und dem Wohnzimmer war grandios. Das Haus war hell und sehr schön eingerichtet. Auf der Wunschliste stünden noch Klimaanlagen für die beiden normalen Schlafräume. 'A whole house with all the trimmings, amenities and warm South African welcome of the owner. The fridge contained complimentary butter, home made jam, bottle of wine and farm fresh milk. There were home made rusks and scrunchies. There was complimentary spices to use as well as olive oil etc etc. We were given two dishwashing pods and laundry detergent to use. I've never stayed in a place that is so well equipped. The owners friendliness further enhanced our stay. '

'This trip was rescheduled from last year. Condo is spotlessly clean. Condo is managed by Megan who is instantly responsive. You communicate using whatsapp and she responds almost instantly. Walking distance to woolworths for essential groceries! Superb base for exploring west cape wine country. Great for 2 couples or a family of 4.'

'We had a great time at Sandmartins over the 2022 Christmas holiday. The house is very well equipped, clean and secure. Sandra is a great communicator and kept us nicely informed through the entire process. She even decorated the house for Christmas for us! As is common in South Africa, load shedding does impact this property, but we appreciated the small backup battery that kept the internet and Tv going.
