"Slightly dated hotel. Good overall quality. There is a $30 additional (compulsory but hidden)fee to use the amenities to be paid at check-in. Why a 5* hotel with these prices needs to do this is truely puzzling…"

"This was our second time staying at the Omni King Edward. Overall it’s a pleasant stay, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. When we arrived in the room the AC was broken, it was on constantly, pretty loud and it didn’t cool all that much. Based on the state of the room, it was clear someone had been trying to fix it but didn’t fix it in time. We didn’t complain because it didn’t bother us, but we made note of it with the staff at checkout. When we returned later in the week for one more night, our room had been upgraded free of charge to compensate for the faulty AC, which was a kind gesture. Breakfast is quite pricey for being relatively basic so we didn’t end up getting breakfast here. "
